Derby Forest School

Derby Forest School runs different outdoor programs. Nature nursery 2yr-4yrs, Tree Tots group (toddler and parent groups) and Holiday clubs (non- term time) for children ages 4yr-11yrs. I started working at Derby Forest school in Oct 2022. I work at Derby Forest School part time mainly helping to facilitate the holiday clubs. I also help with the Nature nursey.

Working at Derby Forest school has helped to develop my practice as a Forest school practitioner. Over the years during these sessions the children have develop confidence, resistance, become more independent and build social connections. The Forest school and child led approach is a proven technique that supports children physical and emotional wellbeing.
