I am currently facilitating a ten-week creative therapeutic arts program for home-educated children. These ten sessions are part of my University placement on the Degree (Creative expressive arts, health and wellbeing). This is a closed group and is currently full. The children's ages range from 2 years to 13 years old. The sessions are for 2 hours and we mainly use the outdoor woodland area unless it’s extremely cold, then we use an indoor heated space.

The creative activities include expressive art making using natural paints, tuning into our imagination through play and storytelling, group collaborative art making, music making, mindfulness activities, and movement.

Aims for this program:

To use creative expression to support the children’s emotional well-being and to improve their confidence and self-esteem. Engage children in group collaborative activities that aim to develop social connections.
